2012 Gifts:
► 1,666 gifts received totaling $4.8 million
► 255 new donors with gifts of $80,483
► 142 gifts of $129k to the Community Fund
► 9 new funds were opened in 2011 bringing
total funds managed to 422
2012 Grants:
► 224 totaling $1.7 million were awarded for 2012 including:
• 54 grants of $433k from the Community Fund
• 108 different not-for-profit organizations received grants
• 91 students received scholarships totaling $250,000
► Since 1983, Heritage Fund has awarded over $54 million in charitable grants which includes $2,793,509 in scholarships to 1,333 students
2012 Foundation:
► Total assets at the end of 2012 were $53.8 million
► Investments ended the year up by 14.4%
► Since the Bartholomew Society (planned giving) society began in 2000, 91 members of our community have indicated they have included Heritage Fund in their estate plans.
► 100% of the Board and Staff made gifts to the foundation in 2011
