Fund Types
Heritage Fund offers a wide range of Fund Types to meet donors’ interests, charitable wishes, Scholarship goals and levels of involvement.

Ways to Give

Gifts and contributions can be given in a variety of ways, including cash, check, credit card, wire transfer or stock transfer. Ways to Give provides instructions on options.

Planned Giving Vehicles
Planned or “deferred” gifts are an important part of estate planning. Planned Giving Vehicles available through Heritage Fund include Stock and Securities, Real Estate, Bequests, Charitable Lead Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Life Insurance. IRA’s, and The Bartholomew Society, the planned giving society of Heritage Fund

Sample Gift Language
Heritage Fund staff has sample Bequest and Fund Agreement Language to assist you when clients wish to make Heritage Fund part of their estate plans or to set up a donor fund.

Listing of Funds by Purpose
As a community foundation, Heritage Fund addresses the broad needs of residents through the Categories of Funds areas of Civic Affairs, Cultural Affairs, Education, Health and Medical, and Social Services.

Bartholomew Society
The Bartholomew Society is the planned giving society of Heritage Fund. Anyone who wishes to notify us that they have included the Heritage Fund or a specific fund of the Heritage Fund, in their estate plans is eligible to be a member.

It provides a wide selection of gift planning scenarios to present clients with personalized financial data.
