Commons Moves Forward – Add your “piece” now!
The “pieces” of The Commons project are coming together! With overwhelming support from the community the remonstrance against the project was defeated, and construction should start late summer/early fall with completion in the Spring 2011. None of this would have happened without the efforts of countless donors and volunteers who supported the project.
Campaign Update
The $3 million goal of the community-wide campaign includes involving as many community members as possible. Heritage Fund has $1.5 million in hand and a similar amount in pledges. Any amount raised over the goal will fund a reserve for future enhancements to The Commons.
We want everyone to have an opportunity to become a donor and add their “piece” to this community project. A Cause in Common, the community campaign to build the new Commons, will continue through the end of 2010.
“Add your piece” and get your name
on the wall
Make a gift to A Cause in Common and your name will be added to those of your friends and neighbors in a framed list that will hang in the corridor entrance on 4th Street. Don’t miss the opportunity to have your name listed and be a “piece” of this community project. Those giving $3,000 and more will have their names listed in specially designated areas in The Commons. Gifts of any size are welcome!
For your convenience you can make your gift here by clicking the "Donate today" button above.
Thank you for adding your "piece."
