Teaching Awards

William and Sally Hanley Teaching Excellence Award

Mr. & Mrs. Hanley, former residents of Columbus now living in Omaha, Nebraska, established this award as a way of giving back to their former community and of recognizing outstanding elementary school teachers in BCSC.  Teachers are nominated by their principals.

Reams Family Award for Teaching Excellence

Established by Fred and Karen Reams to recognize outstanding educators teaching in the private schools serving Bartholomew County.  Teachers are nominated by their principals.
