Additional Scholarships
The following scholarship funds are invested and managed by the Heritage Fund, but administration of the scholarships is handled directly by the organization. For additional information regarding these scholarships, please contact the organizations.
Marjorie and Orphie Bridges Scholarship – Established by Mr. and Mrs.. Bridges to provide scholarship funds to the Ivy Tech Foundation.
Criteria: Bartholomew County residents studying at Ivy Tech State College – Columbus Campus with preference given to Family Self-Sufficiency participants.
Applications are available at Ivy Tech State College, 4475 Central Avenue, Columbus, IN 47203.
Kiwanis Scholarship – Established by W. Calvert Brand to support the Kiwanis Scholarship Fund administered by Kiwanis Club of Columbus.
Criteria: Graduating seniors from Columbus high schools.
Applications are available at the guidance offices of the schools.
R. Kent Witte, Attorney PC and Stacy Ford Walters in memory of Shannon Ford Scholarship – Established in memory of Shannon Ford, a young man who died in an automobile accident in 1992, for scholarships through the Ivy Tech Foundation.
Criteria: Ivy Tech State College – Columbus Campus degree-declared students who have completed at least one semester of study with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Financial need will be considered.
