10 Aug Black Philanthropy Month
Heritage Fund congratulates the African American Fund of Bartholomew County on receiving a proclamation of Black Philanthropy Month by Mayor Jim Lienhoop, announced recently at City Hall. The month long observance, which recognizes Black communities’ shared traditions of giving, self-help and innovation throughout the U.S. and the world, encourages all people of African ancestry and others to use the month of August and beyond to promote the power of giving to transform lives.
