14 Oct Uptown Yoga Offers Free Classes to Non-Profit Employees
Uptown Yoga in Columbus, Indiana is inviting non-profit employees to join in complimentary yoga, meditation, and breath classes that are created specifically with our non-profit friends in mind. They are grateful for all of you who support our most vulnerable populations—especially in this time and realize you carry a heavy load for our community. To say thank you, Uptown Yoga wants to help you feel supported and regenerated by offering our services.
These are the classes offered:
Tuesday | 11:15-11:45 a.m. Stretch and Release Yoga
This is a gentle, nourishing practice that blends movement with breath allowing you to tune into your body, so you can unwind and destress. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that won’t
billow over your head when leaning forward and a yoga mat.
Wednesday | 7:15-7:30 a.m. Rise and Breathe
Engaging your breath is a profound and powerful tool that may be just what you need to re-energize, relax, inspire, and heal as you develop a new perspective about life’s challenges. Wear
comfortable, loose-fitting clothes/practice seated or reclined.
Thursday | 12:00-12:30 p.m. iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation
iRest is a simple and accessible form of meditation designed for modern living. When practiced regularly—little and often—iRest enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable
peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging your situation. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes/practice seated or reclined.
